- Regeneron recently announced advances in its COVID-19 antibody program and plans to initiate large scale manufacturing by mid-April with an antibody cocktail therapy.
- HillRom has more than doubled its production of critical care products, including ventilators, hospital beds and vitals monitoring devices.
- Johnson & Johnson has initiated efforts to develop a vaccine and collaborate with others to screen a library of antiviral therapies.
- Thermo Fisher Scientific has been issued an FDA emergency use authorization for its diagnostic test to detect COVID-19.
Meanwhile, MedTech member companies and universities – large and small – are devoting unprecedented resources to the fight the pandemic. We’re proud of our members and stand ready to support them in any way we can.
