The U.S.-headquartered Ortho was the only diagnostics company to be recognized by The Economic Times. It was chosen in the Medical Devices & Instruments segment category, culled from a list of 47 finalists across all health care categories across Asia.

The Economic Times Best Asian Healthcare Brands was instituted in 2016 to facilitate and acknowledge the leading companies in the Asian health care industry.
