Friends and Colleagues:
The emergence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has profound global impacts that are rapidly evolving. As the voice of New York’s bio/med industry, MedTech is committed to:
- Providing clear, science-based, information;
- Supporting the efforts of member companies developing treatments, vaccines and other COVID-19 modalities;
- Assisting the bio/med industry as it deals with interruptions to the supply chain, travel restrictions, and workforce related issues; and
- Being a responsible actor at events we host and attend.
We are closely monitoring events and over the coming weeks will be communicating with you about COVID-19 and how New York’s bio/med industry is responding. I encourage our members to reach out to us on how we can best help you deal with the disease and its implications for your organization.
Our mission is to develop the relationships, tools and programs that enable New York companies to bring tomorrow’s medical solutions to the healthcare marketplace. That mission has never been more important than it is today.
