SYRACUSE, NY. — Heather Erickson, President of MedTech and MedTech members Theresa Mazzulo, CEO of Excell Partners, and Robert Brady, CEO of Moog, were appointed members of Governor Cuomo’s recently unveiled Regional Economic Development councils.

"I am honored by Governor Cuomo’s appointment,” Erickson said. “I’m looking forward to working with regional leaders to create a plan capitalizing on our greatest development assets, one of which is the Upstate New York Bio/Med industry.”

Erickson, Mazzulo and Brady were appointed to the Central New York, Finger Lakes and Western New York economic development councils, respectively. Each of the 10 regional councils throughout the state will create a development plan for their region and work with the state to better allocate funding and resources. The councils will be able to apply for $1 billion in state funding to assist in their regional plans.
