MedTech Appoints Industry Leader as Board Chair

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (December 18, 2018) – MedTech Association, a membership-based trade association for the bioscience and medical technology (Bio/Med) industry in New York State, has elected Sarah M. Oliker, Esq., Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of CONMED Corporation (Nasdaq: CNMD), as Chair of its Board of Directors. 

Ms. Oliker, a resident of Manlius, New York, is a graduate of Colgate University and the Syracuse University College of Law.  She joined CONMED Corporation in 2014 as Assistant General Counsel and was appointed Assistant Secretary in 2018.  In her role with CONMED, she provides strategic advice to CONMED’s commercial leaders with respect to mergers and acquisitions, financing, international and domestic distribution matters, and health care compliance and regulatory matters.  She was previously Senior Counsel at ProCure Treatment Centers, Inc. in New York, N.Y. and an Associate at the Washington, D.C. law firm of Epstein, Becker & Green.
