Call for Abstracts - 7th Annual Biotechnology Symposium

The Biotechnology Symposium Abstract Selection Committee is currently seeking abstracts for the 7th Annual New York State Biotechnology Symposium to be held on May 12-13, 2015. For the first time, we will be holding the Symposium at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, NY on Long Island.

The New York State Biotechnology Symposium is hosted by the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in partnership with the Research Foundation for the State University of New York, highlighting and raising awareness of the SUNY Networks of Excellence, and in collaboration with the Brookhaven National Laboratory. The mission of this Symposium is to bring together industry representatives and scientists, academics and students, and other professionals interested in biotechnology in order to develop synergies and relationships that further advance the field.

Presentations for the 2015 Symposium must fit into a 20 minute time slot; including time for questions. Although presentations that are applicable to one of the topics listed below are desired, submission of abstracts describing new and innovative topics in the area of biotechnology are also encouraged. When submitting an abstract, please indicate whether a platform or poster presentation is preferred. Please note that there are a limited number of platform presentation spaces available.

Presentation abstracts should be submitted using the form, available on the symposium website at to by January 19, 2015.
