MEDTECH 2011 Annual Conference Closed with Record Breaking Attendance

A record number of industry leaders from Upstate New York’s bioscience and medical technology community graced the corridors of the Hyatt Regency in Rochester last week for the MEDTECH 2011 annual conference and technology showcase.

Hosted by MedTech, the hub of Upstate New York’s Bio/Med industry, this was the largest annual conference held to date by the association. The conference attracted close to 300 attendees from more than 120 regional and national companies. Last year’s sold-out crowd at the Lodge at Welch Allyn in Skaneateles Falls prompted MedTech to explore alternative facilities that would satisfy expanded capacity while maintaining the close, synergistic atmosphere valued by past conference attendees.  

The program featured more than 65 speakers in 12 breakout sessions across four tracks,examining current trends, issues and best practices in bioscience and medical technology.
