Why should I become a member?


MedTech is an integral part of the growth of the bioscience and medical technologies industry in Upstate New York. The connections and the contributions members make through this vibrant community are vital to their businesses as well as the economy of the region. Membership gives organizations the opportunity to connect with potential partners, accelerate their growth, and achieve their commercial and professional goals.

 

What are the different membership levels?


Membership in MedTech is divided into four general categories: Sponsoring Members, Primary Members, Research Affiliates and Associate Members. See membership descriptions/fees below.

Sponsoring Members are companies and organizations that join at either the Sustaining or Supporting level and receive special recognition for their financial commitment to the Upstate New York Bio/Med community.

Sustaining Member                  $11,025 and above
Supporting Member                 $8,250 and above

Primary Members are companies involved in the development and commercialization of drugs, devices, diagnostics and technologies with application in the medical marketplace.

1 - 19 Employees                    $775
20 - 49 Employees                  $1,550
50 - 99 Employees                  $2,300
100 - 500 Employees             $3,850
Over 500 Employees              $5,400

Research Affiliates are colleges, universities, research institutions and clinical organizations involved in education or the advancement of drugs, devices

Research Affiliate                    $3,850

Associate Members are professional services firms, economic development agencies, strategic partners and other entities that support and assist Bio/Med companies by offering expert advice and services.

Great! We want to know more about why you are interested in becmoing a member of MedTech. Before any member organization is approved, we will meet with you to discuss your interests, outline the benefits that come with membership, tell you about opportunities to get engaged with the MedTech community and why active involvement is crucial to any organization’s experience as a member.

Once you contact us, we’ll send along more information and a membership application, or simply download and fill out the membership application from our website.
