Cracking the Code on Healthcare

5/24/12 (TH)

Hyatt Regency Rochester 125 East Main Street Rochester, N. Y. 14604

Two years ago, Healthcare Benefit Network set out on a journey to bring complex, important and timely healthcare topics to the community in a format that was both informative and interactive. Together we explored the topics of Patient Safety and Quality, Healthcare IT, Population Health and Payment Reform. Each of these events was focused squarely on improving patient care and reducing costs.

In this, our 5th Cracking the Code on Healthcare event in Rochester, we will look at our healthcare challenges from a different perspective, through the eyes of the patient. Through a series of keynote presentations and panel discussions we will pull back the curtain on the Affordable Care Act to see how it will affect each of us as patients.

With the Supreme Court currently hearing arguments on the Affordable Care Act and with an expected ruling in June, both Debra and Mark will bring a national perspective to the event discourse.

The characterization methods developed within the center have impact across a broad range of disciplines, many with commercial applications. This year's program will showcase recent advances in this rapidly advancing field and discuss their future applications in the design and developments of new materials.
